Midfielder DAVID HOPKIN should start against Sheffield Wednesday tomorrow after coming on as a substitute and scoring in the 3-1 win over Sheffield United on Tuesday.
The 31-year-old Scot has recovered from his ankle injury which he picked up on the opening day of the season away to Rotherham.
Steve Bruce said: "He's worked like a beast to get himself fit."
Wednesday boss Peter Shreeves hopes Trond Soltvedt and Danny Maddix will recover from dead legs in time for the trip to Selhurst Park.
Assistant manager Terry Yorath said: "Every game is tough. The Rotherham game in midweek was very hard and we expect it to be the same at Crystal Palace."
